Football food

Sunday, August 31st, 2008

It’s college football time! Tell me what you are eating?  Tired of the same old thing? Chips and dip? Need something for the kids…large and small?

Ours featured delightful locally made organic hot dogs, artisan cheddar and my signature smoky chili in a little cheddar laced puff. The recipe will be featured soon in a publication. Too fun! Today was supposed to be my first Daring Bakers Challenge…and for a million reasons I hate to get into here, my gorgeous eclairs became these delightful little treasures of “bad food”. Can’t wait for next month’s challenge!

Hope you are having a wonderful and safe Labor Day weekend.

How can anyone allow something like this to happen?

I will warn you, please do not click on this link if you have a weak stomach. The images are so horrifying that even I….with the cast iron stomach…felt so sickened I thought I would lose it. Besides the poor horses that were rescued by the Bradford County Humane Society, I have never seen anything so horrible.

I hope there is a special place in hell for people who allowed this to happen.
