Big shout of thanks goes out to Joe Buchinsky

Tuesday, August 28th, 2007

Joe has been a family friend of Todd’s for most of his life and when we got married he became a member of our family. Joe is a concrete man…like Todd. It is a profession that people take for granted, but think for a moment about all the concrete around you….it’s everywhere and each sytle of concrete work is different. Todd and Joe have been in the business for over 25 years, they both started as kids and it is as much a part of them is farming is to farmers, and for many of you, as much is art and photography is part of your life.

Todd isn’t handling being sidelined well at all bless his heart. He is as hyper as they come and to have to sit back while friends do the work he does is really painful for him. I don’t know what I would do if I were unable to be an artist.

Anyway, back to Joe. He owns his own company Joseph Buchinsky Concrete and like I said, he and Todd go back many, many years. He is here today digging up our yard and putting in our water service when he could be out making money…instead he is using his equipment, his gas (and trust me…heavy equipment is NOT fuel efficient!) and most of all his time to help us….and he asks nothing in return. We are grateful for our friends who have stood by us and continue be here for us. It means more to us than you wil ever know.

I now have a moat around my house…I feel like a princess lol!

Here is the 4 foot ditch across the driveway on kitchen side of the house:

and here is the start of the trench to the back yard behind the barns:

I’ll post pics of the destruction later….

To Joe…THANK YOU…we so appreciate your help!

About HomemadeWine.net Recipes

Sunday, August 26th, 2007

Homemadewine.net has been on the internet for nearly a decade and recipes have been gathered shared and passed along for so long now that at times the original author may not be credited properly. We do apologize for any errors or omissions.

Many of these recipes have been sent by visitors and while we do check over each recipe for accuracy, we cannot promise how each will turn out for you. With the hundreds of recipes here we would be knee deep in wine for the rest of our days if we made each and every recipe!

A printed compilation of the recipes, tutorials and indexes contained here, along with several new recipes is available for order. The cost is $10.95 + $3.95 shipping. A PDF version is available for $7.95.

Questions? Concerns? Email me directly at the address above, and thank you for visiting!
